On June 13, 2025, Vytautas Magnus University’s Lithuanian Emigration Institute and The Valdas Adamkus Presidential Library-Museum organized an event in the seminar series Unforgettable Names, dedicated to the memory of Ugnė Karvelis (1935–2002).

The event began with a lecture by Dr. Asta Petraitytė-Briedienė, which presented the biography of Ugnė Karvelis and her contributions to Lithuania. The lecture was followed by a remembrance segment, during which Karolina Masiulytė-Paliulienė shared personal memories of Ugnė Karvelis. The event concluded with a screening of video material prepared by Henrikas Gulbinas.

The event was moderated by the Director of the Lithuanian Emigration Institute, Prof. Egidijus Aleksandravičius.
