During the Francophonie Days, Dr. Asta Petraitytė-Briedienė gave a lecture titled “Another Sketch for the Portrait of a Lithuanian Diplomat in France”.

Traditionally, in the first month of spring in Lithuania, the Francophonie Days take place, in which employees of the Lithuanian Emigration Institute at Vytautas Magnus University also participate. On March 2, 2023, at the invitation of the French Culture Center of KTU SHMF, Dr. Asta Petraitytė-Briedienė, a researcher at the VMU Lithuanian Emigration Institute, gave a lecture entitled “Another Sketch for the Portrait of a Lithuanian Diplomat in France.” The lecture recalled Lithuanian diplomats of different generations and fates, whose biographies are marked by the name of France, like a sketch: Lithuanian diplomats who resided in France at different times (P. Klimas, O. Milašius, Dr. S. A. Bačkis, J. Baltrušaitis (junior), as well as J. Urbšys, S. Lozoraitis, P. Klimas (junior), A. Liutkus. The story was accompanied by photo illustrations and music by French composers C. Debussy and C. Sen-Sans (performed by Rokas Makštutis, clarinet, Tel Aviv BMSM music school, Janina Makštutienė, accompaniment).
